Hiya! Thanks for taking the time to play on my site. I hope you decide to create something, too! I love fooling around with colour, texture, and thousands of images that I collect wherever I go. You can tell a lot about me by looking at my work. Some of the pieces question my place in the world around me: others tell a specific story about a person or event in my life. And others just happen to happen – a colour or image catches my eye, and it goes from there!

I fiddled around with art when I was younger, but concentrated on my writing and the book industry. It was after I graduated from Ryerson Polytechnic University’s School of Journalism that I decided to take a creative break from deadlines and duty. I spent the summer in Vancouver, cutting up magazines by the beach, and made a Tarot deck out of found images. This was just the beginning of what will be a lifelong love affair with images.

I took great inspiration from Joey DAMMIT! Nick Bantock, Claudine Hellmuth, Ed Ruscha, Miro, Sabrina Ward Harrison, Yuxweluptun, Klee, Kandinsky, Joseph Cornell, Leo Kaplan, Warhol, Van Gogh and many more. In addition, the unwavering love and support of my late husband Marko Luzajic gives me the drive to keep pouring my heart into the work I do. I was also deeply inspired by so many of the artists I profiled for The Idea Museum, an online arts magazine I edited for two years. And many thanks to my family and my friends for believing in me even when they had no idea what I would think of next.
